Access of your Google Data
GoatDva Uploader uses your authorized token to manage your YouTube uploads. Including only the following features:
- Upload your video to YouTube
- Delete failed upload video. (Failed videos due to format, partial uploads etc)
We do not access any other of your information except the above token information
Use of your Google Data
GoatDva Uploader secretly keep your authorization information and will not share it with any third party. Beyond the authorization token and your channel ID, we do not store any additional PII data, not even the email address of your account.
Data Protection
GoatDva Uploader The user's authorization token is securely stored within a Google Cloud SQL instance using industry-standard practices to ensure data confidentiality and integrity. Data at rest is encrypted using Google's default encryption mechanisms, which protect the token while stored in the database. Data in transit is safeguarded through encrypted connections (such as TLS) between the application and the Cloud SQL instance, preventing unauthorized interception. To minimize exposure, token retention is tightly controlled—tokens are deleted immediately upon expiration or invalidation, ensuring no stale credentials remain accessible in the system. This approach aligns with best practices for secure token lifecycle management. Access to the token is strictly allowed by the program that is actually performing the upload tasks.
Retention of Your Data
We store your personal information for a period of time that is consistent with our business purposes. That means once your account is deleted, or you revoked our access, we will delete your data immediately. GoatDva Uploader The authorization token comes with a default life span of 1 hour. After 1 hour, the refresh token can be used to refresh the token. We keep both in our systems for automatic uploads management. The token is deleted when:
- If a refresh token become invalid due to various reasons (e.g. user revoke the access, google revoked the access), the token will be removed immediately. You can always re-grant the permission to our service to re-initialize the tokens.
- You deleted your account with us
- We terminated your account due to violation of our TOS (or Google TOS).
Your uploaded videos will be removed from our system immediately. If your upload failed, we will retry up to 3 times, and if it still fails, your video will be deleted from our system as well. You have to upload again after fixing the video issue.
Revoke Access Anytime
You can revoke the app’s access to your YouTube account at any time through your Google Account permissions page. We do not retain any tokens or identifiers after access is removed. See this page on how you can revoke the access from Google.
No Cookies or Analytics
This site and the GoatDva Uploader service do not use cookies, trackers, analytics tools, or any third-party marketing services.
